Spring in the heartland can be "Picture" perfect!

I am so glad to see "Vernal Equinox" on the Calendar today that I have to sit on my hands to keep from waving at everybody! Oh heck never mind I am just gonna go ahead and start waving. Spring in the Green Hills area of Northwest Missouri/Southwest Iowa is truly a spectacle on the planet worth traveling to see. we travel quite alot and see alot of different places in the world. There are some amazing places and sights to see out there! One of the most beautiful spots on earth is right here in the heart of the Heartland. Not during the winter so much because we don't usualy get large amounts of snow to pretty things up. But as the violets start their yearly ritual and fresh green leaves open up to receive the warm sun as the thunder rolls off over the hills after a spring storm passes, there are few places or spectacles that compare. Yes I truly love the spring time. A time to get your hands dirty tilling the black soil planting veggetables and flowers. A walk through the colorful timber to find the elusive morel mushroom. Oh yeah... Bring It!!

The spring is one of the best time for outdoor photography as well. Now, of course Fall provides it's own spectacle that is hard to top in photographs, but a fresh spring picture is pretty hard to beat.

Happy Spring everyone!!!
