Tubing in Missouri !

I know what your thinking... BUT!!! We did have a back up camera just in case this shot broke it!

Thanks Autumn for taking my photo. You can even make ME not look bad!!! Now THAT's a photographer!

We were out on a senior photo shoot and found these big culvert tubes and thought... Hmmm... I was backing up old files and came across this test shot that Autumn took. The pic was taken July 13th 09 (back when I was a lot younger!) This is a great example of finding a little scene on the fly and using it to give some variety in your subjects shoot. Nope it's not Rocket science folks, however there are some tricks... Ok let's talk about composition... Usually we try to have our subject off center a bit. There is a thing called the rule of thirds, however this is an example of breaking that rule...(you need to know the rules to break them just right!) just google rule of thirds to learn more about that. the time of day and where the sun is matters in an un movable outdoor scene. so keep than in mind when your scouting for places to shoot... what time of day will the shoot be (hence where will the sun be if it isn't cloudy). Ask questions on face book if you wanna and I will answer!!!
