Ok, so here's the story... On June 20th 2008 We purchased two DeLL laptops. They work great like prolly most laptops do. No Biggy, you buy a laptop from whatever company... it's supposed to work... it does work. Well, this past storm system not only dumped more rain and kept farmers out of the field ...again... it also sent a lightning bolt our way that fried some fuses and light bulbs and ...The power adapter on my (allens) Dell laptop. Having dealt alot with poor customer care from assorted companies I assumed I was in for a long miserable day dealing with India's finest call center workers. Things didn't go wrong today! I called the Dell 800 number jumped through a couple of automated hoops and boom was on the line with a support person (yep you guessed it...India call center person with that cool accent) I gave them my info and told them what happened and....boom... the replacement is in the mail and on the way here!
Yeah I know!!! I couldn't believe things went so smooth! The folks at Dell must have told the people they contracted to take care of customer service to do what was right for real real!
No run around, no bull, just "We'll get you the replacement power adapter ASAP. It's amazing the power in doing the right thing by your customer! If we stay with PC computer systems... Dude we are getting a DeLL !
Allen.. I would say that was the power of God at work!! He know's this is your livily hood and need it to do your job and take care of your family!! What an Awesome God!! Have a Fabulous Weekend!!
