Christmas 2009

Well, I am updating this blog after a day of good cheer at the Thomsen home. We started off the day slow. Our children (the five still living at home) have for whatever reason learned that they can sleep in on Christmas day, and The gifts will still be there under the Christmas tree even as late as 8am ! Now I don't know about everyone, but when I was a kid, when 5 am came around I had already been snooping in the gifts and organizing them by name , size, weight and just plain old Gut instinct. We usually didn't have much but sleeping in was OUT of the question. Anyways, our kids aren't to worried. They will sleep in and get those extra zzz's and then eventually get around to opening gifts. Hey it is fine to Autumn and I , we just sleep right in with them! Then Autumn made some kickin' biscuits and gravy and the games began! 40 new songs for rock band and Madden ten for the video stuff. A new set of skip bo cards where quickly broken in.
The new Battleship was underway, and a stealthy match with air soft sealed the deal. And since this year here in the middle of the USA the snow has really piled up, it has been a great afternoon/evening for some good old sledding fun. In the midst of all the seasonal fun, I just wanted to pause from the festivities for a few minutes to thank each and every client we have had that has made it possible for Autumn and I to have our Photography Studio right here in Eagleville Mo. The traveling out of town to weddings and families at their homes, the seniors and children and families here at the studio, and the events we have made photo's of. Thank you each one for the opportunities you have given us to serve you. Things will slow down a bit in January and February, and during those months Autumn and I will take advantage of the education that is available to us and make sure we are ready to serve and bring you even better photographs of your special moments in life.
