North Harrison Shamrocks take District Championship!

Hello folks,


Sometimes having a good camera really pays off!
We were able to go to all the District 15 class 1 ball games that North Harrison boys and girls participated in. Sometimes you just MAKE the time to do things! I sure am glad that we did. The girls didn't make it past the second game, but they had a remarkable turn around season this year! Thanks for the awesome games girls! The boys however did go all the way at districts and captured First Place! WOO HOO!! As an added joy, my son Aaron is on that team. Watching the game and trying to make photo's of it at the same time is hard when your emotionally attached! But here they are with their District 1 first place plaque. The game was neck and neck for the entire thing until the last 2 minutes of the game when Ryan Cox (senior) stole the show with free throw after free throw! The final score as you can see in the pic was 31 to 40. The folks wearing green in the stands sounded like thunder! My "proud dad" heart leaped for joy as I watched these boys who have worked so hard take the prize in the final game of the District 15 class 1 Tourney held at Ketchum Center Trenton Mo. Congratulations to the Coaches, Players, Parents, and fans of the Shamrock Boys Basketball Team, and the Lady Shamrocks! Now it's off to Sectionals! WOO HOO!
